How do I modify wamp5 to start with the SSL Directive?

Wampserver is for developers so it's never come w/ any production add-on such as ssl, security, so on but I'm in the progress to post a how-to guide on my server as mentioned in this post

I understand that this project is in development - and I think it's put together really well. I've just been wanting to upgrade to SSL and I've got most of it working now that i've added the SSL module, modified my httpd.conf and downloaded the openssl win32 binaries. All I need is the hook where you call apache2.exe I think so I can append that parameter.

If I figure this out I'd be happy to help write the comprehensive tutorial.

I've searched the registry and can't find any references to wamp or apache. Do I need to download and recompile the source in order to modify the parameters passed to the apache service?

Thanks for your time and help.

-Stefan

it's alright. got it working. Just had to overwrite the apache2.exe with the one that comes with openssl and change the hook in the registry.

Thanks for your awesome product. Best UI ever.

So you found different way than mine, but as long as it works for you, right?

Good luck
