WampServer

am a noob...i wanted to host a website from my home pc...so i used wamp server..and
no-ip.com domain name . but the problem is i cant access my website outside lan ( from internet )...am not behind a router and i have disabled firewall.. but stll cant access it...!

if 200.200.200.199 is my ip.. how should i edit the httpd.conf file to access my simple site outside lan??? [scifinews.no-ip.org] this is my free domain name..

plz help///

That section is in post 14 of that thread, guess you really don't read all posts at all.

Seriously, WAMP is a PHP Development Platform. PHP, not LAN. Configuring your router is YOUR responsibility, not ours -- so don't flame US for YOUR problems!

Other things that are NOT the responsibility of this forum:

* "PHP code not working" -- not our problem. If WAMP and PHP is working, figure it out yourself. Visit a PHP coding forum for help. (This is not a PHP coding forum.)
* "Want to also use PostgreSQL" -- not our problem. Maybe someone here could give you some pointers (maybe), but that is not part of the WAMP package.
* "Need to use WAMP for killboard/game server" -- not our problem. WAMP is a DEVELOPMENT TOOL and is not designed to host a live website! It is completely unprotected (a hacker's dream) and you WILL get hacked eventually.
* "Installed IIS now WAMP does not work!!!" -- definitely not our problem. You should always backup important files regularly. If you break it, don't expect someone else to fix it!

Sometimes, I can't hold myself back when seeing people suffer to make wampserver work as expected which was the same situation I've been through. Anyway, I guess I should keep my "big mouth" shut, he he ;-), I mean to keep my fingers away from keyboard when visitting this forums.
