WampServer

i installed activestate perl addon but i'm unable to execute the perl files which have to access mysql database.
the error says unable to locate DBI.pm

i've installed wamp5 1.6.6
help!!!!!

Can't you access them separately? If not, solve one problem at a time. To solve problem w/ perl, check this post

i'm able execute perl files widout problem.
problem arises ven i try to access mysql by using
"use DBI;" in my perl script.

if so, check this

thanks.i found the packages on the site u suggested. but they r in .tar.gz format and i dunno how to install them on windows:-(

use 7zip or winrar to unzip it and it should have instruction inside or check manual installation on the site

these were the instructions for installation:
"Windows

ActivePerl offers a PPM archive of DBD::mysql. All you need to do is typing

ppm
install DBI
install DBD-mysql

This will fetch the modules via HTTP and install them."

but i dunoo how to invoke ppm.

i tried to execute ppm from command prompt in the same directory as perl.exe but it didnt work.
i've perl.exe in c:\wamp\perl\bin\
should i install perl addon outside wamp installation folder or wat?

sorry, buddy, I don't use it at all, so you should seek help from that site instead and post solution here for other if they encounter same problem
