Problems with phpMyAdmin

Hi all,

I recently installed WAMP server, and everything seems to be working fine apart from phpMyAdmin. The localhost WAMP5 Homepage is saying that "MySQL version :
MySQL not launched or bad phpmyadmin config" which i guess is the reason that phpMyAdmin wont connect.

When i try to connect to phpMyAdmin i get an access error #2003 saying the server is not responding.

Any idea whats wrong?

check tray icon to make sure both services running

I've checked the tray icon and the server is online and all services are running sad smiley

I don't think your mySQL running at all, so the question is did you recently make any change include edit server, install new software, so on. If yes, try again after undo what you did. If no, try manually stop and restart all services; then check localhost again.
