Apache will not start.

I just downloaded the latest version, and attempted to run. MySQL starts just fine, as far as I can tell, but Apache will not start. Port 80 is available, and nothing 'should' be blocking it. I also have given Apache full inbound/outbound access with my firewall on Port 80 as well, but if it won't start, I shouldn't even be worrying about getting that far.

I downloaded this version from SourceForge. I was reading through a few other posts, and I guess some people were having problems with SF downloads.

My OS is Windows XP Home, no IIS installed at all.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time,
Toby Barnett

I had already read that post. However, just to check things out, I uninstalled my McAfee to see if that is what was causing it. After uninstallation, it worked just fine. Weird..
