wheres mysql?

Hi im following a tut on the web to understand sql and php. Its told me to manually install all three elements apache, sql and php seperatley but i thought id try get away with using wamp. Im not sure if its exactly the same or not!?!?

Anyways i want to connect to the sql server so i can add databases but i cant find it phpmyadmin...i think thats where it is.Ive gone to databases at the top of the page and it brings up run sql queries and a box below....what do i do now? I just want to get to the mysql command line really, the mysql> thing.

any ideas for a complete newbie to ss scripting?

after you install wamp, just go to:
[localhost]

when you go to [localhost] how do you get to MySQL so that I can put information in?

phpmyadmin is mysql gui, so you do every thing for mysql in there
