I believe my login.php is messed up in some way but im probabily wrong. Im using my ip for people to connect to for example to my forum the address is
[64.255.102.***] if i were to type that in at a different location it would work fine. But when i go to login and press submit, it changes my ip to
[localhost]
its really agravating because anyone can register and go anywhere except the main part any help would be greatly appreciated. THX

Not sure what you use for forum, but for phpBB, the domain name should be declared in General Admin/Configuration because it's the first place the board will look up.

yes im using phpbb and what is the exact file name if you know? i just find it weird that that is the only one that is messed up

login your board as admin, roll to bottom and login again as admin to go to Administration Panel, then check if the domain name is declared correctly in General Admin/Configuration
