Upgrade to latest and strange happenings

I've upgraded to the latest version and now have some strange inconisitancies

Simple Machines and phpBB work fine
Joomla works BUT I can't add or edit content
GTD doesn't work at all (http://www.gtd-php.com/)

Any ideas? <sigh> most frustrating

you upgraded to a newer version of mysql, and you need to update your mysql tables.

Ok I've done that.

How do I know whether that worked or not? I did it from the

Nothing has changed from my first post

Tried via the mysql consul from the tray icon

Also tried from the CMD window and got the error

"Failed to open file 'scripts/mysql_fix_privilege_tables.sql', error: 2


I'm thinking that there is another issue as I've just tested another AMP server as well and get exactly the same errors.
