so lost need step by instructer

I have no hair left to pull out,,Can you help
my install goes great, I turn on register golbals, set user name and pass
[127.0.0.1] brings up configure page ,i see this (phpmyadmin connection not available) in right hand corner of that page . then when i click on [127.0.0.1] i get this error mysql says this :#2003 - The server is not responding
The [127.0.0.1] shows the php info page proper
see this info on it
doc_root no value no value ?

could you show us your mysql logs? (wamp icon->log files)

also make sure you have started mysql before accessing phpmyadmin
