here is what you should do. if you have any other versions of apache, php, and/or mysql installed, then uninstall them all. uninstall all of wamp too. make sure you also delete your c:\wamp directory. restart your computer, and then install wamp again.
do not change any settings in your httpd.conf file
make sure apache and mysql start. if you do not have any problems so far, then test to make sure php is working buy accessing [
localhost] in your browser and see if the wamp page is displayed.
