WampServer

Why is Wampserver so problematic and gives so many issues compared to other Windows servers? I have all the recommended VC++ Redistributables installed, ran the installer as an administrator, the VC++ Redistributable checker says I have them all, and yet I still cannot access the context menu. To make matters worse, only PHP updates, and Apache or MySQL give an error when running the installers with this message: "The installation folder chosen is not that of Wampserver version 3." I have Wampserver installed on C: in the root, and C: is NTFS. Please, I request that Wampserver not cause problems!!!!!

The solution -> stop using Wampserver and use the other Windows servers!

The following four files must be present in the Wampserver folder:
- wampmanager.exe
- wampmanager.ini
- wampmanager.conf
- wampmanager.tpl

It may not have occurred to you that if Wampserver works perfectly for all but three or four users, the problem lies with the users' systems and not with Wampserver.

All the files are present in Wampserver folder... I have researched and seen that many users have the same problem as me; perhaps they should investigate the cause.
