WampServer

Syntax Error:

Click Ok to close the application and fix the error.

After this the Wampserver Tray app crashes and must be restarted.

1. [app.screencast.com] - Tray popup
2. [app.screencast.com] - Upon trying to select any item this happens.
3. After clicking OK to the popup, Wampserver crashes.

Note that TMM does come up and I can interact with it: [app.screencast.com]

Right-clicking the initial tray menu, then trying to select any item, causes the same error.

Help please!

make sure your visual C are up to date and you can also try running the repair tool

- 1 - Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.
Download packages on http://wampserver.aviatechno.net in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.

- 2 - Supprimer tous les fichiers c:\wamp64\logs\

- 3 - Supprimer tous les fichiers de c:\wamp64\tmp\

- 4 - Rerun wampserver 3.3.5 update

- 5 - The versions of PhpMyAdmin, Adminer and Apache you are using are far too old. You need to install Apache 2.4.59, PhpMyAdmin 5.2.1 and Adminer 4.8.1.

Merci! Deleting logs and tmp fixed the issue. Now proceeding to update Apache and the others addons.

I also need to update PHP and MySQL.

What is the correct order to update Apache, PHP and MySQL?

Hi,

Update Apache first (2.4.59), then PHP, then MySQL.

But with MySQL, there is no database transfer. You therefore need to export your databases as SQL files before changing version, and then import them afterwards.
