Hello WAM Gurus!
How to make WAMP complet backup and new updater installation?
Here my environment :
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- fictive domain
- WAMP version : 3.2.3 64 bit
Versions used :
* Apache 2.4.46 , PHP 7.3.21
*MySql 5.7.3.1
* MariaDB 10.4.13
* PHP 5.6.40 for CLI

Must the WAMP run only under a windows server ?

I'm not WAMP specialist and have some good networking basics .

Wampserver latest version (3.3.2 and update 3.3.3) can only run from Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 Update 1 up to Windows 11.

> WAMP version : 3.2.3 64 bit
The 3.3.3 update can theoretically be installed over version 3.2.3 64bit.

Next, you'll need to upgrade your Apache and PHP versions and, if you wish, your MySQL and MariaDB versions.

--- What to back up before a full installation:

- Your local sites. With VirtualHost, these can be installed outside the Wampserver tree, so uninstalling Wampserver does not remove your local sites.

- Export your databases to SQL files.
