WampServer

Is the password for the mysql3306 port account that comes with wampserver root? I tried to log in and the prompt was invalid

The username is `root` the password is nothing
- so leave the password field empty in phpMyAdmin

or

- if using the mysql.exe from the command line just press enter when asked for the password
