Conflicts with browsers?

Hi Everybody,

WAMP 3.3.1. 64-bit
Windows-10 64-bit (21H1)

Is it possible that WAMP will conflict with any browser settings?

It seems that if I have an already open browser and then start WAMP, that the browser will start to behave badly.

If so, what might I do?

Many Thanks,
Paul

(If I wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't have to be so persistent)

Hi,

Wampserver does not touch any of the browser parameters declared during installation.
Wampserver simply launches the browser, for example to open "localhost":
Type: item; Caption: "Localhost"; Action: run; FileName: "E:/Com/Net/Firefox/firefox.exe"; Parameters: 'http://localhost/'; Glyph: 27
The default Wampserver browser is declared in the wampmanager.conf file:
navigator ="E:/Com/Net/Firefox/firefox.exe"
and can be changed by (if several browsers are installed on the system):
Right-Click -> Wamp settings -> Wampserver Browser -> Choice

---------------------------------------------------------------
Documentation Apache - Documentation PHP - Documentation MySQL - Wampserver install files & addons
