Hello Wampserver Team and Community,
I recently returned to learning about web development and discovered that the WampServer platform is a great tool for local server testing and practicing. After formatting my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11, I had no issues using version V3.3.0 of WampServer. However, when I needed to format from Windows 11 22H2 to Windows 11 21H2, the software stopped working properly.
WampServer would only display two of the three services as running, and I tried various methods to resolve the issue, including changing the default Apache port from 80 to 81 or 8181. The icon also stopped working and I had to uninstall and reinstall the software several times and delete the WampServer registry folders.
I eventually downloaded another version of WampServer, 64-bit V3.2.6, and the icon started working again. However, it still displayed as orange, which indicated that it wasn't working properly. I updated all my drivers with Driver Booster and installed all versions of VC 2005 over 2022, but the issue persisted.
When I attempted to manually activate the WampApache64 2.4.51 64-bit service, I received an error message saying "Cannot start wampapache64 in local computer. Contact support. Error 1." Browsing to the address [
192.16.58.8] displayed a blank page with the message "CRL/CACERT Repository".
I have tried various tutorials and troubleshooting methods to resolve these issues, but to no avail. I appreciate your attention and hope that we can find a solution and help others who may have similar issues.
Thank you.
