Hey,

I use BT Yahoo Broadband through a router. When i try to use my IP address (e.g. [IP_ADDRESS_HERE]), it takes to to a different page instead of my localhost, what could be the problem?

I use localhost anyway, but when i want other people to see the pages i've created, i need to use my IP address, which which takes me to a BT Broadband page (or something like that).

Wamp was intended to be only for local testing not to host a web site. You can however host a web site. To do this you need to sign up for some kind of free dns service. I use [www.zoneedit.com]. There are several good ones like []. You can ether register a domain name that you own our get a subdomain from them.

I'm not trying to host a web-site, i'm developing some pages for a site that i need other members of the team to look at, i figured the easiest way to do this was through wamp-server.
