WampServer

Just installed WAMP 3.2.3 x64 on Win8.1 x64.

When I have WAMP open, it changes the background color behind the menu text to gray, in some programs, like Notepad++, Adobe CC, WAMP menu and sometime Windows explorer.

I tried changing SeparatorsSeparatorStyle default value of caption to shortline, in wamp/wampmanager.tpl file, it worked for a while but then the gray background came back.

Hi,

Install Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.3.6 with choice of Wampserver colors.

Never modify anything in wampmanager.tpl

I don't have Windows 8.1 to test.

Unfortunately it didn't work.

Had to update to WAMP 3.2.4 x64 first as Aestan Tray Menu 3.2.3.6 wouldn't install otherwise.

Just a quick, the problem only occursif I left click on the WAMP icon in the system tray.
If I don't do this, everything is fine.

Anomaly not found in Windows 10 Pro 64bit or Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

- Verify that all VC ++ packages are installed and with the latest versions.
To do this, use the tool:
Checks VC++ packages installed
Do not use a previously loaded tool. Make a new download to make sure you are using the correct version.
To download missing packages, do not rely on Microsoft links, they are not reliable, download packages on http://wampserver.aviatechno.net in section Visual C++ Redistribuable Packages
Do not forget that if you have a 64 bit Windows, you must install both 32 and 64 bit versions of each package.
You must install each package "as an administrator", so right-click the exe file and then run as Administrator.

Hi,

This may be due to the ClearType settings that have changed between Windows versions.

- Control Panel, Fonts, Adjust ClearType text, Enable ClearType checked

Next several times, without changing the numbers of the framed boxes so as to note the current configuration by numbering the boxes from left to right and from top to bottom to restore it if there is a problem.

And we start again to modify.

My configuration is : 1 1 1 2 3

Adjusting the Clear Type to 11123 worked.

Tried a few more configurations and it would appear as long at the second panel is 1, the problem doesn't occur.
