Searched but...

Certain plugins that I use for WordPress that require an activation key will allow me to use the plugin with WAMP without activation if it sees:

localhost://sitename

Currently my sites display as:

[sitename]

I create the sites using "Add A Virtual Host" rather than a "Project" in www.

How can I get the site name to display as localhost?

TIA

Hi,

But did you install WordPress before or after creating the VirtualHost?

This is not possible. localhost is a hosting provider, as are Gandi, OVH, 1and1, infomaniak, and many others. When you want to go to a hosted site, for example wampserver.com, you ask for 'http://www.wampserver.com/', you do not ask for 'http://gandi/www.wampserver.com/'. It's the same for local sites.
