Hi,

I have Wamp 1.6.1.

I did set a password on PhpMyAdmin, but then i cant login again on my PhpMyAdmin:

Fout
MySQL retourneerde:

#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I did set the password that I did set on PhpMyAdmin also on the file config.ini.php.

But that did not work.

I Had same proble once. I uninstaled wamp (deleted all files that still were in wamp directory) then i installed wamp again then entered to phpMyAdmin created database, then get back to home page pressed privileges and created new user (add a new user),Wriite in fields Username and password (when you are creating user dont forget to check all boxes in Data, Structure and Administration). When these actions are done go to the wamp directory/phpmyadmin and open config.inc find and replace orginal username root and add your password (this field will be empty)

I just figure it out...I have the same problem... Just go to the FAQ look at number 4.. You should get it.
