New wamp install, need exact steps to change mySQL password

WAMP newbie.

Want to change the blank mySQL password and ensure that other apps such as phpAdmin still work as well.

Hi,

PhpMyAdmin

- User Accounts tab
-- User name -> Edit privileges -> Change password

Never forget that it is not PhpMyAdmin that manages user accounts and passwords, but that it is a graphical interface to MySQL and that it is MySQL that manages users.
