I am using WAMP5 1.6.1.
I know I can switch between php4 and php5 but is there anyway I can install both mysql5 and 4 and switch between them also??
I have a website that is running php4 and mysql4 and I want to be able to run the same thing locally on my xp system.
Thanks,

you dont need to install mysql4, your scripts will run fine with mysql5.

I am trying to sync the db using sqlyog. They are saying there are differences between mysql4 and mysql5. They are saying that their syncing isn't compatible between v4 and v5.

export your sql from your hosted website and import it to WAMP local phpmyadmin and import it.

This is something that I would like to do every couple of days, so I'll try it and then try to automate it.
Thanks for your help.

There are some scripts that do not work with MySQL 5. :-(

I would appreciate using Wamp 1.6.1 with MySQL 4.
