Hi, I can't install MySql.

When I click "Install service" it does nothing.

When I click the MySql console it asks me for a password. I type it in and it closes and beeps.

Also, [localhost] gives me an error message:

#2003 - The server is not responding

I've tried reinstalling and it does the same. Could someone help me please.

Thanks. Carl.

Edit: I'm running Windows XP home.

I have the same issue on Windows XP. I have checked and I only have one version of mysql installed.

I get the same response when trying to acces my phpadmin or sqlitemanager from the WAMP menu.

Although, when accessing "localhost", I get the Apache index.php page, so that seems fine.
