The ordinal 372 could not be located in the DLL C:\wamp...\openssl.exe

Hi,

I am trying to configure ssl on wampserver using [forum.wampserver.com] but whenever I use openssl.exe I get "The ordinal 372.." error.

I have the latest wampserver installed on windows 10 and all the VCR have been installed according to check_vcredist.exe.

When I run Dependency Walker on openssl.exe there are a-lot of "Error Opening File. The system cannot find the file specified (2)". Which are caused by "api-ms-win-core-*.dll".

Any idea as to how I can fix this?

Thanks

I have amended the linked answer, this is an issue with the state of the Apache/PHP that is built by APacheLounge. Often the correct versions are missed or are not available.

Anyway see the **HOWEVER** section and that will tell you how to get over this issue

Thanks, openssl is now working but once I have completed setting up ssl and I restart apache I get the following error;
httpd: Syntax error on line 184 of C:/wampserver/bin/apache/apache2.4.23/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_ssl.so into server: The operating system cannot run %1.

Any idea what is causing this?

Try this, to move the correct versions of dlls to the apache folder

left click wampmanager -> Apache -> version -> click the ticked version

Thanks. Working 100%.

I also had to enable LoadModule socache_shmcb_module modules/mod_socache_shmcb.so in httpd.conf
