How to use this?

Yes, I know this must be an extremely newby question. I can't stand being new to things.

Anyways, I have just started learning PHP (note: w3schools tutorial is garbage). I'm not too far along in it. So someone directed me to here, and I downloaded the wamp server. I have it all installed on my computer and everything, so now what?

Could anyone give me a link to instructions on how to use this thing. How do I connect to the server through the internet? How do I test out PHP on this thing? Basically, how do I use this?

Any help is appreciated.

Another note:

I was basically just told to download this at the beginning of the w3schools tutorial, not really know what it was for. I do know about how it is a server, and can be used with PHP.

Now write some php and put it in the c:\wamp\www\ directory.
I dont recommend WAMP installations to be used over the internet.
Its fine though as a PHP learning testbed.

Yeah I'm just using it to learn PHP and testing. Okay I'll do that.

Should the WWW directory look like an image slider containing dossier.gif, index.php, and logo_i.gif, which is the WAMP5 logo?

Replace all the files in the www directory with your own files.
What you see there is the default testing files.
