instalation folder:

C:\Program_Files\wamp

I then moved the phpmyadmin and sqlitemanager fodlers to the www folder under wamp:

C:\Program_Files\wamp\www\sqlitemanager

C:\Program_Files\wamp\www\phpmyadmin

when I try and access the folders and files via my web browser, firefox and IE at

[localhost]

I get a login in pop up, I typed root for my user and nothing for my password (defaults right?).

I then get the following error:

The page cannot be found...
HTTP 404 - File not found
Internet Information Services

Is Apache not working? how do I get rid of IIS?

Or are neither of these the problem..?

after you install WAMP, do not move the phpmyadmin and sqlliemanager folders, WAMP sets up access automattically for that, so to access phpmyadmin you use [localhost], it will go to the phpmyadmin folder

Thanks for the reply CyberSpatium, I moved them back still getting the same error.

Also I am getting the error for just the localhost or www directory as well.

[localhost]

it wants to deafult to:

[localhost]

all I see is the saem error:

The page cannot be found...
HTTP 404 - File not found
Internet Information Services

you may have not put them back in the proper location. easies fix for your problem is to uninstall and reinstall WAMP.
