WampServer

Hi,

I installed wamp server on my window7 but the wamp icon could not turn green. Apparently I can't open my pages in any browser. Can some advise?

Click the wamp icon, Apache, service and click on test port 80, you will see that ether IIS or skype are using the port, if it is skype then goto Tools, Options, Advanced, Connection and un tick the Use port 80 and 443 for additional incoming connections and reboot, else if it is IIS then, uninstall IIS you don't need it.

Go to task manager and stop "Windows Process Activation Service" or "WAS". Then restart WAMP's services. I'm not sure what disabling this service would do as a side-effect though, but you can do so by going to the properties of it. I haven't noticed any problems so far.

First uninstall Wampserver, deactivate Antivirus & install Wampserver again, it works for me.
