WampServer

I have tried this solution and I cannot get it to work. I don't get any errors and wamp restarts OK, but I get

"Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." when I browse to localhost through the wampmanager, or when I enter 127.0.0.1. in the address bar, However I can access PHPMyAdmin no problem through wampmanager?

Any thoughts on how I can resolve the issue please?
