Running a command line

I have to run the command line instructions on this page, but cannot work out how to do this using Wampserver.

$ symfony init-app backend
$ symfony propel-init-admin backend post Post
$ symfony propel-init-admin backend comment Comment

These commands? The commands only work on Linux, not on Windows.

Yeah, those are the commands.

They only work on Linux eh...I'm running Symfony on a WAMP server (obviously).

Any ideas what I should do to run the commands?

ok, i got confused, sorry, I saw "call ./symfony.sh i" on that page you listed and asumed besed on that that this script requries linux. it does not. but, becuase the install page is like 10 pages long, i do not have the time to read all that so i can get any idea of what your problem is.
