WampServer

mod_rewrite does not appear under the apache modules

1. I'm using Windows 8.1 64 bit
2. Wampserver 2.5 64 bit
3. Apache version 2.4.9
4. php version 5.5.12
5. mysql version 5.6.17
6. the wampserver colour is green
7. lines with localhost
127.0.0.1 localhost
8. yes i have access to localhost
9. yes i have access to phpmyadmin
10. no error message
11. windows defender and windows firewall
12. c:\wamp
13. no other virtual hosts

Hi,

In folder :

- wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.9\modules\mod_rewrite.so

Into wamp\bin\apache\apache2.4.9\conf\httpd.conf
- #LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

You have to check it :
- Wampmanager Tray Icon -> Apache -> Apache modules -> rewrite_module (Check it)

Still have to scroll the list of modules to the end!

Note : Wampserver 2.5 is obsolete and no longer supported. The latest version is Wampserver 3.0.6.
