Slow screen refresh rate

Hello,
I have been having very slow screen refresh rates since I have switched to PHP 7 on WAMP. Every time I change anything minor in my PHP code, the changes take about a minute to appear on my screen. I have a Wordpress install that I am making changes to. The webpage itself loads quickly, but I cannot instantly see the results of changes to my code.
Previously I have used PHP 5.6 with no problems, but since I have moved to PHP 7 I have had this annoying issue.

got it worked out now... The problem was I didn't have adequate permissions for my firewall to allow Apache to run properly.
