WampServer

Hello,

I know this maybe repeated questions. but i am still not able to find something can really help... all the discussion i have found here are at least 5 years age.

Now we are using windows 8 (64 bits). 8GB RAM and i5 processor.

WAMP is taking an average for 5-7 seconds to respond for my clicks. I'm testing one PHP script and it is still very slow.

i did increased the allocated RAM in php.ini file... i did disable my anti virus... nothing work. and it is still thinking for more than 5 seconds after each click in order to start performing the link destination...

the processing itself is pretty fast. it is acceptable... but what really bother me is that huge delay after each click.

anybody have solution for this annoying issue?

What version of WAMPServer have you got installed?

Have you tried adding these 2 lines to your httpd.conf

AcceptFilter http none
AcceptFilter https none

my menu of wamp next to the computer clock says it is WAMP 2.2

Apache 2.2.22
PHP 5.3.13
MySQL 5.5.24


i tried to add your two lines... the 5-7 seconds turned to 30 seconds... i removed them in order to get back to 6 seconds delay :-)

looks like this is everybody problem over here... i saw many posts complaining about wamp and windows 8 for delay.

Well strictly its Apache or MySQL or PHP.

WAMP only installs Apache, MySQL, PHP it does not control that code.

Try looking for a solution on Apache forums!
