Hallo,
There is a display problem in Greek Translation.
Furthermore, there are many strings not been translated yet.
How can I solve this?

Secondly, Is there a way to translate the local homepage of wampserver in Greek?
Thanks in advance!
:-)

File wamp\lang\greek.lang to compare with wamp\lang\english.lang

For settings and tools there is no file for Greek
You need to add your own translation file:
wamp\lang\modules\settings_greek.php
to compare with
wamp\lang\modules\settings_english.php

For home page and add_vhost page there is no file for Greek.
You need to add your own translation files.
wamp\www\wamplangues\index_greek.php
to compare with
wamp\www\wamplangues\index_english.php
and
wamp\www\wamplangues\add_vhost_greek.php
to compare with
wamp\www\wamplangues\add_vhost_english.php

I have created the settings_greek.php and it works fine.
The problem is with the folder wamplangues. It does not exist and the files you refer to it.
Any idea what to do?

Hi,

> The problem is with the folder wamplangues. It does not exist and the files you refer to it.

It does not exist with Wampserver 3.0.0 as the texts are inside index.php or add_vhost.php and it was very difficults to add new language.

You need to apply Wampserver update 3.0.3 directly over WAMPServer 3.0.0, it does not change any versions of Apache/MYSQL or PHP it just corrects some small issues with wampmanager.exe and the surrounding code and configuration and :
- Separate language files for index.php and add vhost.php
- The home pages and add vhost use the language specified in Wampmanager if the related file exists in wamp \www\wamplangues\

Hi,

Thanks.

To stay with the names that already existed, I will replace "hellenic" with "greek" unless you see a downside.

Theses files will be in 3.0.4 update.

Hellenic is the international word for the name of our language.
Greek is the english word for the name of our language.
Like German and Deutsch.
That's why the 2 letters abbreviation is "el" and the 3 letters abbreviation is "ell".
I if you want to use greek, it is not a problem for me, but the politically correct word is "hellenic".

Hi,

I'll add your language files and change 'greek' to 'hellenic' in update 3.0.4.
This will be done in a completely transparent way for those who use 'greek' as language.

Nice. :-)
Something for feedback.
Wamplangues folder is visible in the submenu My projects.
I think it should be removed!
One more question translation related.
Is there a way to translate the website of Wamp?
:-)

Future update 3.0.4

If you think about [wampserver.com] you can ask the question: [www.alterway.fr]
But, honestly, I think it has little chance of success.
It took more than three months for requests that the home page points to Wampserver 3
