How do I make www folder read/write access please in Windows 7?

(Trying to migrate WordPress sites and getting copy error)

You do not need to do anything with permissions on Windows.

What copy errors are you getting?

The response I have from the migration plugin developer is this:
"That error message indicates that the file permissions in your local web server are not set up to allow PHP to be able to manipulate all the files that it needs to. Check the file permissions of your wp-content folder and its immediate sub-directories, to make sure that they are writable. If it's a local development server, then you can just make them read/writable by all users, as the simplest solution."

I have gone into properties and security in Windows and given full control but it doesn't seem to be actually implemented by the OS. And reading on other forums it seems...nit sure how rue this is....that it can't be done.

That's all I know...

Does your plugin developer know that you are trying to run this on windows and not unix?
If not tell him/her that.

Unless you have done something REALLY WIERD with your windows installation it is almost definitely not a file permission thing.
