I cant load my localhost

I m a newbie in this field. I wanted to install php and learn it. I have installed WAMP successfully. The services seems to run well but I cant seem to load my localhost. I have tried to unable my firewalls but it doesnt seem to work. I am helpless here.
I m currently using Windows XP Pro with SP2. I really hope I can get some assistance. I m also not sure how to change the Skype as suggested by some in the forum.

I'm also a newbie...

I couldn't load [localhost] or any other test php script I created. I am running windows xp pro with sp2. I am also running norton internet security. I turned off my norton personal firewall and was able to load [localhost] just fine. Seems like it is a firewall issue.

Paul you need to unblock your firewall to Apache2. And you'll be find.

Thanks. i manage to solve it too. It was Norton blocking the connection port. Got it fixed. Thanks lot.
