I recently upgraded to Windows 10. I then discovered that MANY others have done the same and they've also found the same problem. WAMP won't work when you install it on Windows 10.

I tried MANY posted fixes. After days if not weeks I found a fix. Hence I'm posting here to help anyone that needs it.
Post Windows 10 and then WAMP install, I did this.

1. Left click WAMP icon. (The one next to your clock, which should be there once WAMP is started)
2. Select Apache/Services/Remove Services
3. Select MySQL/Services/Remove Services
4. Select Apache/Services/Install Services
5. Select MySQL/Services/Install Services

Well it worked for me.

Hi,

NO. Wampserver 3.0.0 installs and runs perfectly under Windows 10.

You did not say you have installed Wampserver on Windows 10, but you had updated to Windows 10 from another version of Windows whith keeping the installed applications and settings.

The upgrade to Windows 10 does not know how to update the services that are not those of the system. This is a Windows problem, not a Wampserver problem .
