reinstall of wamp, can't get into joomla front end

I uninstalled and reinstalled wamp on my pc to run joomla locally. There was a problem with Wamp reinstall, Steven Martin helped me fix wamp, works fine. THANKS Steven!!
Now my problem is I cannot get rid of the wampserver homepage to get to my new joomla install or even my previous site.
I can view phpmyadmin database etc but no sign on screen for joomla, so frustrated can someone offer suggestions? would love to be able to fix my previously 90% finished website but at this point I will accept just being able to reload and access joomla period.......
