WampServer

Have been installed wampserver2.5-Apache-2.4.9-Mysql-5.6.17-php5.5.12-64b, but I can't reach the folder with wamp.

Wamp server present on file system and run [localhost].

When I run wampserver3 installer I can see "wamp" folder when choose destination.


Also I can't delete it from my system, no files or icons in my system.
And also I read all possible docs "how to uninstall".



System: win7 64

I am not sure exactly what you are saying I am afraid

But you should not install a new version of WAMPServer over an old version See [forum.wampserver.com]

WampServer will uninstall in the normal Windows way, Programs & Features - Uninstall. Then you have to delete the \wamp\ folder manually as the install will not delete files that it itself did nto create.


Always make sure you have have a backup of your sites and databases before uninstaling

Yes, I had installed wamp2.5 over my old wamp, by chance.
Now I need to fix it.

Any suggestions?

By fix it what do you mean.


Are you trying to recover what you had on the old version of WAMPServer or just get the new one working

I want to delete wamp from my PC and install new version.

I can't delete wamp from my system, no uninstall icons in my system.

Suppress all files and folder from wamp installation directory
Suppress wamp folder itself
Open a command windows "as an administrator" and type :
sc delete wampapache64
sc delete wampmysqld64

That's all
