How to uninstall WampServer completely so that I can reinstall it?

Hello,

Trying to uninstall WAMP.
I've been using it for years now and set myself very comfortable in it.
However, last time I upgraded WAMP and it worked fine.
But I noticed there are some misconf with old installation since I used phalcon framework and some other custom code (Zend lib etc) that doesn't fit upgraded version.
That was the reason I wanted to deinstall and install fresh version one more time starting all over.
Problem is when I click uninstall icon, seems there is no progress.
Actually, in task manager (W7), there is three processes starting at once (unins000.exe *32).
But ununstallation doesn't go through.
Even after restart and trying the action from Control Panel.
What could I do next? Thanks

Hi,

In the link I gave you, there is explanation that there is only three things to remove to uninstall Wampserver.
The two services.
The content of the install folder and the folder itself.

To suppress the two services if it cannot be done by the Wampmanager Icon, run a windows line command as administrator then, in this Commande Windows type the two command.

SC DELETE wampapache
SC DELETE wampmysqld

Then delete the install folder of Wampserver.

Warning : In the link I gave you, it is explained that if you delete the Wamp folder you will LOST your local sites AND your databases.

The link I gave you explain how you can change or replace Wampserver without losing your local websites or your databases.

Last time I followed that recommendation and installed new version with no problems.
I already made a backup of MySQL databases and WWW directory.
Issue I am facing is something about Windows uninstall related.
I successfully installed wampserver one more time, but I am not able to uninstall it over msi/exe file within wamp directory. I will follow steps you pointed here.
Also, one thing is strange here: in CP installed programs, there is Wampserver presented (still with no ability to remove it) and in MS FixIt tool WampServer is not presented.
I would say this is Windows related problem.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,

The uninstaller for Wampserver 3.0.0 works fine. I tried dozens of times to develop the Wampserver 3.0.0 installer.
