WampServer

This my first jump into the world of apache/php/mysql/wordpress/wamp - so thanks for helping out the new guy. Icon is currently yellow(orangeish). Running Windows 7 64 bit

First of all, I couldn't get apache to initiate because something was already using port 80. I couldn't sort it out so I put Apache on port 8080.

Now for my issue of MySQL not cooperating

C:\Users\Siberia>netstat -aon|findstr :3306
TCP 0.0.0.0:3306 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 1536

In Task Manager/Services, it shows MySQL as running under PID 1556

From Task Manager, clicking on Services brings up a detailed screen. This also shows that MySQL is started and does not indicate that anything is wrong.

If you're willing to take a minute to help me out, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Ill take a look , grab teamviewer and PM me the login details and ill sort out apache and mysql
