dreamweaver connecton to mysql connection

Ok, this is another thing i dont know but in dreamweaver i want to set up a connection with my mysql server but i dont know what address to put in cause i tried to put my ip in but it dont work.

no the wamp server is on my laptop which has a broken screen so i use that for the server and code php and stuuf like that on my pc

I have the same problem. Localhost, ip address, reininstalling, firewall of or on. Whatever, like the few other people found with Google it's no use with whatever address or setting and there seems to be no real solution on offer. The local SQL server can not be found.

you have to read the stuff people say, it really helps you help them. He/she said the database server was on a seperate PC!!!

Where you would use localhost or 127.0.0.1 try using the IP Address of your laptop instead.
