Is there anybody who has successfully installed Laravel 5 and Homestead with Wamp and if so do they have a recommended tutorial I could follow.

As far as I can see Laravel Homestead is a Vagrant VirtualBox installation and nothing to do with WAMPServer!

It runs in VirtualBox using a unix/linux OS.

Am I wrong?

Hello Riggs my 'ol mukka.

Phpacademy (Youtube) installed Laravel 4 in Xamp and somehow I have managed to install Laravel 5 in Wamp, hopefully it's a sound installation.

I think your correct about Homestead being a Vagrant component, that's something I found out today.

At present all I can find are tutorials installing Laravel 5 and Homestead 2 on Windows, but I was hoping that it could be set up with Wamp and not being a programmer I was looking for a possible tutorial, I thought here was a good place ask.

Take it as your next project Riggs my 'ol chum.

Cheers for the help, I'll soldier on for a while and hope for the best.

Hello Riggsy baby.

I'm beginning to see the light.

I've wandered off in the totally wrong direction. I think I've got there now. Laravel 5 and Homestead are a complete stand alone unit. My mistake and thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

K.
