you need to launch go.pear.bat and followthe instructions (local install). Then add c:/wamp/php/pear in your include_ath and reboot your server, that's it...

go.pear.bat is not included with wapm5 1.6.0

You install pear by running the following commands from the command prompt:
cd \wamp\php\PEAR
..\php.exe -r "readfile('http://pear.php.net/go-pear');" > go-pear
..\php.exe go-pear

follow the prompts and make sure the paths are correct

Hello out there.

I just downloaded WAMP in the hopes of learning how to use PEAR. However, I cannot find the go-pear.bat file.

Do you even support PEAR anymore?

Thank you for your time.

Perhaps I need to re-install WAMP again, because I certainly don't see it.

You're right.

I re-installed the 32 bit WAMP after removing the 64 bit WAMP.

Still can not locate go_pear.bat, however.

I must be am idiot.

Its called go-pear.bat and not go_pear.bat

thats a hyphen and not an underscore.
