WampServer

Hello,

I installed the Wampserver 2 and i'm very impressed of its functionality

But when I tried to start PHPMyAdmin I got the following Error Message:

phpMyAdmin - Fehler
Die Erweiterung mysqli kann nicht geladen werden. Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre PHP-Konfiguration. - Dokumentation

The links are not very informativ

So please can you help me

PS: The WampServer Icon is green

Could be 3 things -

1 hosts file

Open hosts file
C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

Make sure it has

127.0.0.1 localhost

Only once and nothing else like ::1 localhost


2. A conflicting my.ini file

Search pc for my.ini and remove any not in c:/wamp


3. A conflicting php.ini file

Swath pc for php.ini and remove any not in c:/wamp


Make sure you clear the history in browser fully when retesting and try http:/ /127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin as a comparison

I have two further questions:

Is it enough to test from Firefox in private Mode?

Do I have to restart the Wampserver or even the Computer?

I renemed another php.ini and another my.ini not in the wamp directory

I restarted the computer

Now I got the following:

Edit the hosts files too.

Then clear history FULLY

I deinstalled another version of MySQL and PHP then I got the following
I couldn't deinstall the service of the other MySQL

In the host-file is only this line
127.0.0.1 localhost127.0.0.1 localhost


I deleted the Chronik in Firefox, and cleaned the private cache


The PHPMyAdmin comes with the following message

then once you chnage this. Clear the history Fully. and use CTRL + F5 to refresh the broswer


if you cant get it to work ill take a look using teamviewer if you want.

which browser are you using?

please download teamviewer if you cannot get it to work and send id and pin to gmail email address below

if you like.. but it will be slower.

for me? obviously not..

i can fix it in a few mins but iv never used teamviewer in "confirm all" mode..

for you... you might feel more secure..
