If I have “private" and "public_html" folders that need to be outside the 'WWW" folder, will WampServer understand how to access the site? I placed the folders one level up from the "WWW" folder. My web page will not display and I am attempting to narrow my issues. If anyone can help, thanks.

no thats not how it works.


anyhting in the www is viewable ...

use .htccess to block access

or use vh to setup allow to certain users for certain dir

to setup access, follow this
