how to transfer tables from old mysql

hi,
my windoze messed up and i had to re-install, i was using wamp on another partition; therefore havn't lost anything.

BUT now i've installed the latest wampserver, i would like to know how to 'port-over' the old database tables+structure.

i copied the 'www' folder to the new installation and my webpages come up, but i can't get the database up.

My old sql was 5.0.5.1b now its 5.1.36, I've copied over the whole 5.0.51b folder next to the newer one... but when i go to the 'versions' in the taskbar i can't select the old version...

is it a case of just copying some files over from the old to the new so the old db structure+data isin the new one... if so how do i do it please :-)
