Hi,

I can't use the Wamp, I think I tryed everything but the true is...can't star Wamp. I think the problem is the Apache, because the MySQL is working and the Apache donĀ“t, even after the click in Resume / Star Apache...notihng happends.

I uninstall de Skipe, I tryed a new Port, changing 80 to 9080, I reintall the Wamp, I tryed other programs like EasyPhp, Xampp....everithing with the same result.

At this momente my WAMP icon is Yellow and pointing witj cursor the message is "Server Online" .

I realy need to put Wamp working in this PC.

Can you help me?

Skype uses port 80 as well. If you changed the Apache port number to 9080 in httpd.conf and then reinstalled WAMP it will be set back to port 80. With WAMP installed, edit httpd.conf and change the port that Apache listens to with "Listen 8080" to change port to 8080. (Re)start the service and you should be up and running if that was your only problem. Remember that you will need [localhost] once service is running.

FYI, port 8080 is the official alternative to port 80 for http.

Hope this helps.

Since you did to many actions, I suggest you to do the followings :

- Uninstall wamp, delete wamp folder (not completely uninstalled with conf files).
- Delete any php.ini/mysql.ini on your system (ex: windows)
- Restart your computer.
- Reinstall wamp server.

If it still doesn't work, test port 80 from wamp menu -> Apache -> Service.

Then don't do anything and post here what exactly you get (wamp icon color, wamp homepage, etc.)

PS: There is a configuration in Skype to get it running with wamp (or any other webserver)
