WampServer

Hi,

I have just installed Wampserver (64 bits & PHP 5.5) 2.5 over the top of an old wamp install on a Windows 8.1 machine. I had not used the old install of Wamp for over a year on this machine, and did not verify that it was still working before installing the new version.

When I try to run WampServer I receive an Aestan Tray Menu error as follows:
"The configuration file contains a syntax error on line 325: [EPareError] Parameter "Service" specifies an unknown service"

Guidance would be appreciated,

OK, I think the clue was in my original question....

I did a fresh install, in a new folder and Wamp works correctly now. I am guessing maybe my wampmanager.ini file was not updated in the install.

This is probably correct, except it was probably your wampmanager.tpl file.

there is :
NEVER INSTALL A NEW RELEASE OF WAMPServer over an existing installation
