WampServer

Hi All, hoping someone can help. I've loaded WampServer 2.0 and everything seems to work, I can get the "localhost" screen to appear in my browser, but when I click on phpmyadmin I get an error "#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) "

I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. Can someone please assist?

Hi,

You should create a folder config in apps/phpMyAdmin_version/
and then setup a config file using [localhost].

Add at least one serveur and click on Download to get config.inc.php
You must place it in apps/phpMyAdmin_version/

There others manner to do, but maybe this is the simpliest..
