WampServer

This is a odd thing. I can't get the server work with mysql 5, but when i downloaded 4, it worked perfectly. The service of mysql 5 is just not started, when i start it nothing happens. The server tray icon stays 2/3 yellow with mysql 5, with 4 it's white. (works).

u need to tuen back on 5. Delete everything from the mysql log in c:/wamp/logs and try start it. And post up wat shows in the log. Each update usually has new features or is started with different settings. They mzy just needed to be modified slighty

I found it on the forum, sorry:

"Left click on wamp tray icon, then MySQL, then my.ini

Find:
default-storage-engine=InnoDB

Change to:
default-storage-engine=MyISAM "

Yep, that's the way to bypass that issue ;-)
